CQUniversity
Founded in Rockhampton in 1967 as the Queensland Institute of Technology (QIT) Capricornia, CQUniversity Australia achieved full university status in 1992. Today, it serves more than 30 000 students across Australia, offering both online and on-campus study options. CQUniversity has a strong vision to strengthen the regions and communities it serves and after more than half a century working with stakeholders in regional Australia, the University is a renowned research institution.

Shell QGC
Located in Queensland, Australia, Shell’s QGC business produces natural gas from wells drilled into coal seams in the Surat Basin. Its operations include over 3,500 production wells, 26 field compression stations, six central processing plants, two water treatment plants and a two-train LNG export facility on Curtis Island. In addition to shipping LNG to international customers, Shell’s QGC business is an active participant in Australia’s domestic gas market. The gas supplied into the market is traded through Walloons. Shell is the operator and majority interest holder in the QGC venture.

STEM Central
The Australia Pacific LNG STEM Central facility opened in 2018. The facility is a partnership between Australia Pacific LNG and the University. This contemporary STEM facility and associated programs are addressing the national (and International) STEM crisis at the local level.​ We are a multidisciplinary team who conduct research, educational experiences, and community engagement events. We actively collaborate with local, State and National groups.
