Fiona Hutton

Bringing strategy to executive search, Fiona is an experienced educational search specialist, with extensive leadership networks and deep insight into the current and future landscape of education. Fiona currently consults to Educational systems, Boards, Principals and executive teams in the areas of strategic planning, succession planning, executive search and school reviews. Fiona is actively involved in developing leadership capacity specifically at Executive levels and regularly conducts 360 degree reviews of Principals and CEO's. Fiona's passion for supporting women in leadership sees her sharing her knowledge nationally and internationally, through speaking at conferences and hosting webinars. She has influenced College Boards to achieve equity in remuneration for female Principals across Australia, and to include wellbeing packages for Principals and executive leaders, ensuring sustainability for leaders in these complex roles. 

As Founder and Managing Director of Hutton Consulting Australia, Fiona is proud to be partnering with a range of Independent, Government and Faith based organisations, celebrating well over 500 successful leadership appointments in the Education Sector throughout Australia and internationally.

A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Fiona has served as a non-executive director on two NFP Boards. In 2021, Fiona was recognised by the Australian Business Journal as one of the top 20 influential educational leaders in Australia, a national finalist in the Telstra Business Awards for her work in empowering female leaders, a current National Judge of the Telstra Business Awards and published on The Educational Leadership Hotlist in 2023. She currently serves as a Victorian Committee Member for the Australian Council for Educational Leaders.
