Renae Jones is an award-winning entrepreneurial educator, innovation specialist, and business leader passionate about integrating entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability into education and practice. With a PhD in Business and expertise in business innovation, Renae began her career supporting organisations and employees around the world to develop agility, resilience, and proactive mindsets to navigate change and uncertainty.
As an entrepreneur, Renae has founded multiple social impact-driven businesses across the fitness, hospitality, and retail industries. Her passion for empowering others through innovation later led her into education, where she focuses on helping young people develop entrepreneurial thinking and enterprise skills that enable them to shape their own futures with confidence and creativity.
A qualified secondary educator, Renae was recognised as the Australian Entrepreneurial Educator of the Year in 2021. She also played a key role in establishing the entrepreneurial pathway and Centre for Innovators and Entrepreneurs at St Paul’s Anglican School in Queensland, contributing to the school’s recognition as one of Australia’s most innovative schools and one of the world’s top 100 innovative educational institutions by the University of Cambridge.
Currently serving as the Young Change Agents National Educator-in-Residence, Renae leads Australia’s Entrepreneurial Educators Exchange Community while designing entrepreneurial education programs for educators nationally and internationally. Through her work, she continues to champion future-focused learning that equips both educators and students with the skills, mindsets, and confidence to create meaningful impact.
