Karen Roman

Karen Roman brings extensive experience as a classroom teacher, middle leader, and executive leader across both the state and independent school systems in Queensland. Passionate about supporting high-quality learning outcomes for all students, Karen has built a strong reputation for her expertise in inclusive education, evidence-based curriculum, and effective pedagogy.


Karen has also worked with Independent Schools Queensland as Manager of the Student Services team, where she specialised in supporting schools in the area of inclusive learning. Through this work, she partnered closely with educators and leadership teams to strengthen inclusive practices, build staff capability, and support diverse learner needs across a range of school settings.


A strong advocate for research-informed teaching and learning, Karen has delivered professional learning to teachers and school leaders throughout Queensland. Her work continues to focus on empowering educators with practical strategies, contemporary insights, and evidence-based approaches that foster inclusive, engaging, and high-impact learning environments.
