Karen Madden brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in education and is widely recognised as a leading voice in educational leadership. Working closely with the Principal, Executive, and Senior Leadership Teams at St Paul’s School, Karen oversees educational programs from Pre-Prep to Year 12, while leading professional development and supporting the growth of a dynamic and future-focused learning community.
Passionate about creating learning environments where excellence in student learning and wellbeing are central, Karen plays a significant role in developing, promoting, and resourcing innovative educational practices that prepare students and staff for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and fostering a culture of learning across the entire school community.
With a PhD in leadership in Australian schools, the publication of her co-edited book, and recognition as a recipient of the ACEL Excellence in Educational Leadership Award, Karen continues to influence the education sector through her research, leadership, and passion for empowering both educators and young people.
