Dave Capill

Dave Capill is an experienced educational leader and current Deputy Principal at Gladstone West State School in CQ. He has led in a wide range of school contexts, including primary and secondary, public and private, metropolitan and rural settings, bringing a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students and communities. Dave leads Years 4–6 in curriculum, instructional practice, and school culture, with a strong focus on student wellbeing and academic achievement. Dave is passionate about building inclusive, future-focused schools and strengthening professional practice through coaching, collaboration, and evidence-informed decision-making.
