Billie Loveday currently serves as the Assistant Head of English at Canterbury College. With over 23 years of experience in diverse educational settings, both in Australia and overseas, Billie has dedicated her career to fostering an inclusive and empowering learning environment. Proudly identifying as a Wiradjuri and Wailwan woman, Billie brings a rich cultural perspective to her role. Her commitment to First Nation's education is evident in both her professional endeavours and advocacy work, and she believes in the power of education to bridge cultural divides and create opportunities for all students. Throughout her career, Billie has demonstrated a keen understanding of the challenges faced by Indigenous communities in education. She has actively worked towards addressing these challenges, advocating for a curriculum that respects and includes Indigenous perspectives.
