Terri Myles
Head Of Department - Business
St Andrews Lutheran College
Terri Myles has spent over 30 years in Secondary Education, with a deep focus on Business and a passion for sparking entrepreneurial thinking in young people. For the past 11 years, she’s called St Andrews Lutheran College home, where she’s been part of a leadership culture that embraces "doing education differently." Terri's journey into entrepreneurship education was sparked by early encouragement from Baden U’Ren (then Professor of Entrepreneurship at Bond University), Derek Bartels (former Director of Innovation for Lutheran Schools), and Mark Woodland (then at Xplor), along with her own forward-thinking Business Department team. Today, she’s proud to be part of a thriving entrepreneurial program at St Andrews that goes beyond the classroom—from the extra-curricular IC Program with mentor connections to Xplor Melbourne, to two whole-year initiatives: INNOV8 (Year 8) and Ima9ine (Year 9). For Terri, it’s all about giving students the tools—and the confidence—to think big and create change.
