Tara Jacobsen is a social scientist, futurist, and co-founder of Groei Education, an organisation dedicated to building purpose-driven pathways to the future of work. Partnering with government and industry, she designs innovative education solutions that integrate micro-learning, work-integrated learning placements, and digital credentialing, ensuring young people gain practical, industry-ready skills while businesses access pre-trained talent.
With expertise in innovation, digital flexibility, and social capital strategy, Tara has founded three training organisations, including an RTO in the Pilbara. She lectures in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Strategy at leading Australian institutions and is pursuing a PhD in social and entrepreneurial capital.
Tara is a director of the International Social Capital Association, Australian Chair for Leadership & Entrepreneurship Education for G100, and serves on the Rural Women’s Network. She mentors for Generation Innovation, the Telstra Mayors Innovation Awards, and leads Study Sunshine Coast, supporting students in employability and industry pathways.
