I have been the Deputy Principal at the Queensland Virtual STEM Academy, Central Queensland, since 2018. My time within this role has afforded me the opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic field of STEM education, where I am dedicated to pioneering innovative learning avenues for students. I was a Peter Doherty Award recipient in 2021. My particular passion lies in catering to the educational needs of students situated in Rural and Remote areas. My enthusiasm for fostering creative and critical thinking skills among students is steadfast, and I am very invested in leveraging the design thinking process to cultivate a holistic learning environment.
In my role, I have the privilege of collaborating with esteemed professionals from universities and industries across various STEM disciplines. Their profound dedication to both their research endeavors and professional roles serves as a source of inspiration for the students, as well as for myself.
