Ben Hayden-Smith

Ben Hayden-Smith is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Bond Business School where he lectures in entrepreneurship, primarily business model design, start-up finance and strategy. He was the 2022 recipient of the Executive Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching. Under his stewardship, Bond Business School students have raised over $275,000 for charity as part of the Business Model Execution subject. Ben has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and North East Asian Economies from Macquarie University and a Master of Business Administration from Bond University. 

Ben has decades of experience working as an advisor and consultant in the accounting and financial services sector. In that time, he has worked with hundreds of businesses, primarily in practice management, business improvement and practice re-design. Ben has worked in and with several start-ups including a financial services business that was acquired by AMP. Ben currently sits on the board of a private medical group, Arrow Health. Ben is passionate about experiential education and the changes that it can bring in the lives of students.
